You will find Henton Village hall about 3 miles west of Wells on B3139 Burnham road.
At the moment the Waterboard are installing a new main and there may be restrictions along this road especially for large vehicles. The latest information we have is below:
If you need to get through to Panborough the official diversion is via Cheddar and Wedmore. Acccess to the Village Hall will not be impeded if coming from Wells.
However when the road is closed local traffic can, with care, use other routes but these are not to be used by large lorries and are unsuitable for those pulling trailers. The lanes are all single track with soft verges and pot holes as well as blind bends; thus not suitable if you are having to back up with a trailer.
The Waterboard are now working in Henton until 22nd June after this date the road through Bleadney will be blocked but access to residents homes should be made available at all times.
Bristol Water are aware that the school bus will need to come through although at the moment with all schools closed this is not an issue.
Further restrictions may apply as work progresses as follows:
Wells Road, Bleadney – Works to start on 22nd June and they hope to finsish on 17th July 2020 assuming they do not find additional problems. .
