Past events

In recent years the Hall has hosted a number of village social events including barn dances, Christmas Lunch, jazz evenings, Harvest Suppers and a New Year's Eve party. It has also been hired privately for children's parties, a Golden Wedding Anniversary, and a wedding breakfast and for funeral wakes.

Every July, a highlight of the summer is Henton Fete, held at the village hall. The hall is filled with stalls selling books, bric a brac and home-made cakes, and there is a pop-up cafe serving drinks and cakes. Outside, there is a dog show, a barbecue, children's tent, plant stall, sideshows and much, much more. Follow them on Instagram #HentonVillageFete or on Facebook #Henton Fete. From time to time we have been fortunate to have recitals by local musicians who use our lovely baby grand piano.

The hall has movable stage blocks that can be positioned in the most suitable location for your event.

Henton Village Hall has a licence for serving alcohol.
